China Drone Racing League (Xiangshan) Kicks Off September 18
According to the Aero Sports Management Center of China General Administration of Sport, the 2026 China Drone Racing League (Xiangshan) will be held September 18-22 at the Damu Bay Aviation Flight Camp in Xiangshan, Zhejiang, featuring multi-rotor racing (F9U), with check-in starting at 11:00 on September 18. It is one of the largest official domestic racing events in H2 2026 — pilots should watch for track announcements and registration channels.

Compliance Reminder: New Rules Effective May 1
All pilots should note: since May 1, 2026, three mandatory pre-flight steps apply — register your drone on the UOM platform and affix the QR code, activate the Remote ID (RID) module via the official app, and check real-time airspace status with the UOM app before every flight to confirm you are in a designated blue (permitted) zone. In addition, the Aero Sports Management Center of the General Administration of Sport released the Guidelines for Organizing and Participating in Drone Racing Events on April 20, standardizing event procedures and safety protocols.
