1. 🇹🇷 TDL 2026 Drone Festival Kicks Off in Istanbul – 70 Pilots Compete for Championship

The Tech Drone League (TDL) Races 2026 Stage 1 Drone Festival officially opens today, June 6, at the Sultangazi Municipality Event Area in Istanbul, Turkey. The two-day festival brings together Turkey‘s most talented FPV drone pilots to compete for speed, reflexes, and technical mastery.

Event Details:

1、70 FPV drone pilots competing across multiple categories

2、Total prize pool: 80,000 TL (approximately $2,500 USD)

3、Features stage shows, drone experience zones, simulator challenges, drone soccer, VR experience areas, Segway track, maker zone, robot soccer, and a spectacular drone LED curtain show


2. 🇺🇦 Kyiv Sends 1,500 Fiber-Optic FPV Drones to Frontline Troops

The Kyiv city community has delivered more than 1,600 drones to soldiers of the 12th Army Corps of the Ukrainian Ground Forces serving on various sections of the front line.

Delivery Breakdown:

1、1,500 fiber-optic FPV drones – immune to electronic jamming

2、50 interceptor drones – designed to counter Shahed-type attack drones

3、50 Mavic drones – reconnaissance and tactical support

3. 🇺🇦 Ukraine’s ‘Barracuda’ Drone Boat Becomes Mini Aircraft Carrier for FPVs

Ukraine has upgraded its ‘Barracuda’ unmanned surface vessel to function as a miniature aircraft carrier, capable of carrying 4 to 8 FPV drones for maritime strike missions.

4. 🇺🇸 Draganfly Flex & AG3 SPADE Compete in U.S. Army’s Drone Dominance Gauntlet 2

The U.S. Army‘s Drone Dominance Gauntlet 2 competition is underway, seeking lethal but low-cost tactical FPV kamikaze drones. Mountain Horse Solutions is submitting two platforms: the Draganfly Flex and AG3 Labs SPADE.

Competition Requirements (Round 2 Winners Must Deliver):

1、8,500 long-range drones – cost not exceeding $5,500 each

2、9,500 close-quarter drones – cost not exceeding $4,500 each
